Pain- my review

My first read by Amanda and what a great book to start with. I basically read this in a few hours as once I started I didn't want to put it down.

Lillian runs The Sanctuary with her dad and two volunteers. It's where they home animals that need sanctuary. Her dad shocks her when he tells her a young offender is staying and helping them as part of a rehab program.

Justice is the young lad that is placed into their care. He has no intentions of doing anything only getting away from them. That is until Lil starts breaking down his walls. However Justice has been through so much already. He has felt so much pain in his young life that he's unsure how to cope with the different emotions now.

Really brilliant well written story. A twist near the end had me in tears. Will certainly be reading more of this authors books.
