-- BLURB --
They were the boys any good girl knew to avoid.
Rich and privileged.
Gorgeous and cruel.
The poster boys for rebellion…their tongues so sharp they cut to the bone.
We worshipped them despite their dangerous games.
We laughed even as we cried.
It was all fun and games until the first dirty girl died.
Now, as the bodies pile up, I believe I can endure their wicked ways. Only time will tell if I’ll escape.
Because when wealthy boys are accustomed to getting everything they want, not even the lives of those around them are too high an asking price.
Warning: This book is a dark romance. If you are looking for a sweet and tender story, you won’t find it here.

MY REVIEW

Yet again this author has written an epic story that I pretty much inhaled in one sitting. Now I’m stumped on how to review this amazing story as I doubt my words will do it justice. It’s also hard to review without spoilers. So what I will say is this is an amazing story that will mess with your head. As I kept reading I found myself on the edge of my seat and biting the inside of my cheek. Expect the unexpected with Dirty Girls...you won’t regret it.

I must choose between my revenge and being her savior.
I’m one helluva biker with a taste for torture, but I’m an even better daddy…

MY REVIEW

Yet again this author has blown my mind. Koyn is an amazing read. From start to finish I was gripped. This is dark and intense. Some amazing characters including Koyn and Hadley.

Not a story for everyone but as it’s so wrong I absolutely loved it. As with other books by this author expect the unexpected and hold tight.

Can’t wait to read more in this series if this story is anything to go by.

Blew My Mind. Awesome Read.

The Liars Daughter - blog tour

BLOG TOUR

The Liar’s Daughter, Claire Allan

No one deserves to be taken before their time. Do they?

Joe McKee – pillar of the Derry community – is dead. As arrangements are made for the traditional Irish wake, friends and family are left reeling at how cancer could have taken this much-loved man so soon.

But grief is the last thing that Joe’s daughter Ciara and step-daughter Heidi feel. For they knew the real Joe – the man who was supposed to protect them and did anything but.

As the mourners gather, the police do too, with doubt being cast over whether Joe’s death was due to natural causes. Because the lies that Joe told won’t be taken to the grave after all – and the truth gives his daughters the best possible motive for killing him…

A gripping suspense novel about deadly secrets and lies. The perfect read for fans of Clare Mackintosh.

 MY REVIEW

What a story!!!! I’ve read a few of this authors books but this has now become my favourite.

Joe McKee is a real nasty character. Behind closed doors is was nothing like what the community thought he was. He’s now dying and wants his family with him. When he dies the police are suspicious.

Not a subject that everyone wants to read about. The author wrote it in such a way it was hard to put the book down.

Brilliantly written dark, psychological read. Can’t wait to read more from this author.

Even If It Hurts - blog tour

When you have a perfect marriage, only an impossible reconnection could make you risk it all.

Even if it Hurts, an emotionally charged contemporary romance from USA Today bestselling author, Marni Mann, is live!

OLIVER
When I met her, I couldn’t take my eyes off her.
We were so young and so passionate.
We studied business in the day and each other’s bodies at night.
We always knew it would end with the semester, so we loved hard with no regrets.

LANCE
When I met her, I couldn’t get her off my mind.
We were fresh out of college and ready to take on the world.
We fit each other like missing puzzle pieces.
And just when I thought my life was perfect, it got better. She became my wife.

CHLOE
I met my first love while studying abroad in London.
When I moved home, I didn’t think I’d ever fall in love again.
Until I met him. The man who became my husband.
The one I promised a lifetime to.

Then, my first love came back into my life …
And I realized that love was bigger than any one man.

MY REVIEW

After reading this I’ve realised that I’ve so not read enough of this authors stories as this was so good.

Gahhhhh what a story. From start to finish the author had me under her spell. I felt as if she threw me on an emotional rollercoaster to read this.

The true raw emotion that the author portrayed through her words in Even If It Hurts is amazing. She put a spell on me.

She gave us four amazing characters Chloe, Lance, Oliver and Molly. My heart broke for Chloe.

No more from me. All I’m gonna say is this is a fantastic read. If this is a sign of the stories coming this year then we are in for one fantastic year.

Excerpt:

“What can I get you?” the bartender asked, his hands hovering, waiting to reach for one of the bottles.
I gripped the edge of the bar top, holding the cold leather, and said, “Prosecco, please.”
The speakeasy wasn’t too packed tonight, just a steady business crowd filling the main space and the small seating nooks that were like little dens built into the perimeter.
My eyes were falling over the row of wine, studying the labels, when I felt a piece of fabric brush across the side of my arm. I turned just in time to see a dark suit jacket leaving my skin, and with it came a scent. One that was so sharp and demanding—the smell of power if it came in a bottle.
I couldn’t believe how much I liked it.
My gaze traveled higher to the silk tie, the broad shoulders, and the full frame that was at least six-three and all suit. And I found myself holding in my breath as I took in this absolutely gorgeous man with thick black hair and a clean-shaven face, blue eyes so dark that they looked navy.
“Have you ordered?” he asked in a rich, deep voice.
“He’s making mine now.”
It was easy to see there was nothing raw about this man. He had a polished, educated demeanor with a richness that went well beyond the cost of his suit.
He smiled, and I found myself sucked into it, unable to look away. “What’s your name?”
With a stare as invasive as his, one I felt move straight through me, it seemed my name was something he should certainly know at this point.
“Chloe Kennedy.”
He turned his body so he was now facing me, showing me details I hadn’t picked up before—a narrow, angular nose and tiny wrinkles at the sides of his eyes. His hand reached forward, and when it surrounded mine, he said, “Lance Hamilton.”
“Here’s your Prosecco,” the bartender said, and from the corner of my eye, I saw him set down the glass.
“Add that to my tab, and I’ll take a scotch,” Lance said with his eyes on me.
I knew my cheeks were blushing, and it wasn’t because he was paying for the drink. “You don’t have to do that.”
“I can’t let a beautiful woman like yourself pay for her own drink.” His eyes narrowed. “Unless there’s someone else here who should be buying it?”
“No.” I shook my head. “Only you.”
My hand was still in his, gripped in a shake that I felt all the way up to my shoulder, across my chest, and down to my other hand that was clenching the cold glass of champagne.
My comment seemed to make his smile grow, and he held my hand for a second longer before releasing me.
“I was just coming to find you,” Molly said, startling me, her arm then snaking around my waist. “Looks like Lance found you instead.”
I glanced at my best friend, knowing Lance could hear us. “You know him?”
“I work with Marshall,” Lance said before Molly could reply, and he leaned down and kissed her on the cheek. “Nice to see you, Molly.”
She grinned at him. “You too.”
He hadn’t been part of the group Molly and Marshall introduced me to when we first arrived, nor had I seen him at any of the parties I attended with her. If I’d met Lance before, I wouldn’t have forgotten.
“I’ll see you back at the table,” she said, her arm leaving my waist, and she gave me a look I knew well. It was one that told me she approved, and then she was gone just as the bartender handed Lance his drink.
“Thank you again,” I said as he handed the bartender his credit card. He held his glass in the air, near mine, smiling.
“To the morning and everything that happens in between.”
I laughed, clicking my Prosecco to his scotch, and it felt like a warmth had crept over me, even before I put my lips to glass and swallowed.

Struggling to pick herself up, she’s offered her old job at Goldman Law. Jack Goldman’s estranged son Julien has been arrested for attempted murder and he wants Natalie to find out why.

With the help of fellow solicitor Gavin Savage, Natalie sets out to investigate, but with a series of red herrings ahead, will she ever discover the truth?

And can Natalie avoid her personal problems interfering with the case?

Convictions is the first book in a gripping new legal, crime suspense series.

 MY REVIEW

I enjoyed this story. We get introduced to Natalie Bach who I liked.

Nearing forty years old she’s returned home to care for her mother. She’s also dealing with being dumped by her boyfriend for no reason. A positive is she gets offered her old job as a solicitor. When the bosses son is arrested for attempted murder she must find the truth..that’s easier said than done.

This is a good read that I read in an afternoon. There isn’t as much suspense as I thought there would be but I’d definitely recommend reading it.

Kill Sleep Repeat - review tour

☆ Review Tour ☆

𝙆𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙎𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙩 by  Britney King is available now

𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙀𝙍 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙮𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙖 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙛𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙟𝙤𝙗𝙢𝙖𝙮𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙞𝙩 𝙥𝙖𝙮𝙨.

Several times a week, Charlotte Jones leaves suburbia behind and boards a chartered flight to parts unknown, where she wraps her hands around the necks of marks for just as long as she has to.

Then she goes back to domestic life with a paycheck, defense wounds, and the sense that she can handle anything.

Which is good, because being a wife, mother, and sociopath, with an insatiable taste for murder, gives the term work-life balance new meaning. When one life unexpectedly bleeds into the other, leading to a secret admirer and borderline insta-fame, Charlotte is forced to ask herself if she really can have it all.

Slick and unnerving, Kill, Sleep, Repeat is a cunning tale of deception and desire that begs the question: Do we ever really know people the way we think we do?

MY REVIEW

I’ve read all of this authors previous books. I can’t seem to get enough of her words. When I see her name the first book I’ve read by her comes to mind. Bedrock. It blew my mind. Every time she has a new release I pick it up in the hope she gives me all those feels that I had quite a few years ago reading Bedrock and she hasn’t failed yet. Kill, Sleep, Repeat is another amazing read by this author.

My review is gonna be vague as I don’t want to spoil the story for anyone. Charlotte is an amazing character. I couldn’t get enough of her.

I will say don’t start this story unless you’ve enough time to read it all as you won’t want to put it down.

It’s truly a brilliant read though not a story for everyone so be warned. I now want to go and binge re-read all this authors stories as they are oh so good.

1-click if you dare and enjoy this psychological thriller.

Blurb:

Thomas Harrow is new to Carnal Pleasures. Though an accomplished Dominant, not everyone is impressed with him at first sight. In an effort to prove that he belongs, he sets up a public demonstration that has a disastrous end.

Layla Marks is a dreamer who works behind the scenes at the club. Night after night she watches the playing, secretly longing to be apart of the lifestyle.

The pair couldn't be more different: Thomas is demanding with little patience for Layla's naiveté. With a rocky start already between them, they enter into a tentative D/s relationship, hoping that the other can be what they need.

But Thomas is not the only one who covets the shy beauty, and Layla soon finds herself caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse.

*The Carnal Pleasures series will be a mixture of various M/M and M/F pairings following the lives of the employees and patrons of the club. Due to language and explicit sexual interaction, it is recommended for readers 18 and up*

MY REVIEW

This is book two in Carnal Pleasures. Yet again these authors sucked me into a genre I don’t usually read. As I read book one I thought I’d give this a go and I’m so glad I did.

Thomas is a new Dom at Carnal Pleasures. He’s also a dragon. Layla, a mermaid, is a cleaning lady at the club. She secretly wants to be a part of the activities at the club.

A well written hot and sexy read. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

EXCERPT

“Strip, everything goes.”
“I…”
“You consented to scene with me. When you failed to communicate you earned yourself a punishment. I know you’re not stupid, dense perhaps, but not stupid. Now strip. You have your safe word. Nothing is going to harm you.” Humiliate, yes, but not harm.
With shaking hands she takes off her clothes. Like the good little sub she is she folds each article of clothing and sets them off to the side.
She may not have tapped into the submissive side of herself before, but it’s there. I plan on giving her a crash course tonight on what it would be like to be mine.
“Step up to the cross, facing the front of the room.”
“What?”
“I didn’t stutter.”
“Why are you doing this?”
“You know why. Now, I won’t tell you again.” I reply as patiently as I can.
She walks slowly across the stage and stands in front of the Saint Andrew’s Cross. A smirk crosses my lips as her small frame stands next to the intimidating piece of equipment.
“Turn around.” She does and I place my hand on her shoulder so I can gently push her back until she’s flush with the wood.
I restrain her to the cross and tears trail down her cheeks as she looks out to the crowd. Only a handful of patrons have noticed us, I don’t mind, but she certainly does.
“You’ll stay here for half an hour. That is your punishment. You humiliated me, so I think it’s only fair that I do the same for you. Tit-for-tat and all that.”
