I’ve read previous books by this author so couldn’t wait to read this and I wasn’t disappointed. The blurb is great and had me wanting to read it.

It’s not often I have such extreme different feelings with two of the main characters but this author succeeded in me really liking Claire and not liking Max at all.

This is a well written story that sucked me in from the start. It’s one of those reads that had me reading just one more chapter until I realised I wasn’t going to put it down until the last page.

This is my first but without a doubt it isn’t my last read by this author as I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I do enjoy stories in the gang world and this was a great read.

Fletch is a very likeable character who has always kept an eye out for his brother Spencer. As part of the underworld Fletch must do everything possible to protect him. I found this to be a fast paced read.

‘Just one more chapter’ happened a few times and I ended up reading this in one sitting.

I’ll definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

About the Book:

When my husband found this perfect little cabin in the woods for our honeymoon, I couldn’t wait to get away. Just us in the middle of the forest, waking up every day in the trees, ending each night in the hot tub under the stars. But now I’m not sure that I know my husband at all…

I just wish we’d gone to the police when someone left a note on the doormat saying: She’s dead, you’re next. Ryan said I was overreacting, but I don’t understand why he won’t go to the cops now things are getting worse. Can I trust my husband?

I’ve known about the terrible thing that Ryan did for years and it’s been tearing me apart. Last night I told him I would always keep his secret. But is the man I married hiding something else from me?

Now someone has cut the phone lines and we’re trapped here. Ryan swears he has no idea what’s going on and just wants to keep us safe. I’m here alone in the middle of the dark forest with the man I thought I could trust. My heart is racing and there’s no one I can call…

My husband promised till death do us part. Am I about to find out what that means?

A heart-pounding, unbelievably twisty psychological thriller that will have you sleeping with the light on! Fans of Gone GirlBehind Closed Doors and Date Night will be utterly gripped.

Wow yet again this author blew me away with her words. I’m now finding myself struggling to review this as I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. I will say the two main characters are very likeable.

Ryan and Grace go off on a late honeymoon. Their romantic break turns more sinister when mysterious things start happening.

This is another brilliant read that will play with your mind. The twists and turns kept on coming and I loved every minute of it.

I seriously can’t wait to see what is next for us from this author as this was a brilliant read.

Ratchet’s Revenge - new release

இ☠️Ratchet’s Revenge ☠️இ

Series: Royal Bastards MC

🔥Huntsville, Alabama Chapter ðŸ”¥

Having your old Army buddy call you and open with, “Hey—remember that favor you own me for saving your ass? Well, I need to collect,” wasn’t a promising start to a conversation. When Ratchet’s friend, Mason, called to say he needed his help, he was all in. Mason was right, Ratchet owed him his life a few hundred times over and he’d do whatever he needed to pay his buddy back—including risking his life. Hearing that his MC’s rival had Mason’s little sister was only a bonus because that would mean that he’d be able to kick some Dragon ass to help get her back. Now, all he had to do was convince his club’s Prez, Savage, that going into enemy territory was a good idea, even if they all knew better. Living the motto, “No guts, no glory,” was sure taking on a new meaning, but not helping his friend wasn’t an option.

Laney Zane felt like a first-class fool for trusting the hot biker to show her a good time. She should have listened to her older brother, Mason, and steered clear of the Dragon’s clubhouse, but she wanted to have a good time. She got a whole lot more than she bargained for when she woke up in a cage with about five other women. Yeah, her big brother was right—again, and this time, she might not ever be able to hear him tell her those four little words that she always hated hearing from him, “I told you so.” God, what she’d give to hear Mason say those words to her just one more time.

Ratchet’s Revenge is K.L. Ramsey’s fourth book in the Royal Bastards MC series.

So so good. I read this without reading previous books but I still thoroughly enjoyed it.

Ratchet is a member of an MC. He is ex military. When his friend Mason calls on him to help him he does without a thought.

Ratchet and Laney.. absolutely loved their story. This is a well written story that I inhaled in an afternoon.

I’m looking forward to reading more from this author and more Royal Bastards soon.

The Island - blog tour

The Island

The Island - where everyone knows everyone, and secrets are impossible to keep...

‘Be careful, you don’t know them as well as you think. Remember - anyone can kill.’

Juliet has returned to the Isle of Wight from years abroad to visit her sick father and to be reunited with her three sisters – Cassie, a professional musician who seems to have lost her way in life, Mira, who is profoundly deaf, is married to the local vicar but their relationship is falling apart, and Rosalind, glamorous and charming but now deeply unhappy and secretive about her life.

As Juliet’s father lies dying, he issues her with a warning. There is a killer on the loose, and they may be closer than she can ever imagine. He anxiously tells Juliet that he confided a family secret in son-in-law Rhys, and now regrets ever saying a word.

Days later, as the clock strikes one in the morning, a man comes out of Rhys’s church, walks along the path and is run down by a car driven by an unidentified person. When the finger of suspicion points to Juliet, she realises the only way to clear her name is to uncover the secrets her family has been keeping from her for years. But with a killer on the loose, danger is getting closer all the time…

The Island is set on the Isle of Wight - insular, claustrophobic, and where secrets are hard to keep.

Mary Grand's heart-stopping who-dunnits are perfect for fans of Louise Candlish. Agatha Christie

and Lucy Foley.

This is my first read by this author and I really enjoyed it. The story is set on an island called the Isle of Wight.

Juliet has returned to the island to see her sick father and her three sisters Cassie, Rosalind and Mira.

Plenty of secrets and suspense had me page turning as I needed to know what was going to happen next.

I’d say this would make a great beach read.

Author Bio:

Mary Grand is the author of five novels and writes gripping, page-turning suspense, with a dark and often murderous underside. She grew up in Wales, was for many years a teacher of deaf children and now lives on the Isle of Wight where her new novel, The House Party, which was published by Boldwood in August 2020, is set.
