Don't Speak is part of this authors modern fairytale collection. This story is the authors own version of The Little Mermaid.

Laire, a fishermans daughter and Erik, the Governors son are the main characters. 

I really like these two characters and was so hoping they'd have a happy ever after. Laire is a beautiful character inside and out. Although she's led a sheltered life she is strong and courageous and has dreams to follow.

Really looking forward to reading more of this authors stories especially her modern fairytale collection.
