I live on the outskirts of Belfast, Northern Ireland. By day, I don high heels and dressy attire for work in the city, where I command a team of professionals. By night, I peel off the bossbabe layers and submerse myself in writing...well actually, I'm always plotting & planning! You will often find me editing or writing during lunch breaks and on the commute to work.

MY REVIEW OF VERTO VENERI

Verto Veneri is book one in The Unforgettable Series. This is a fast paced novella that you just gotta read in one sitting. 

Lana and Marcus are so hot together. Lana is a great character. I liked her straight away. Marcus is the sexy rich guy. 

Hopefully book two will give us some more BDSM scenes with this hot couple. Great praise to the author on her debut novel. After that ending I can’t  wait to read book two.

MY REVIEW OF VERITAS

This is book two in The Unforgettable Series. Make sure you read book one Verto Veneri first. 

Lana and Marcus story continues. This was on edge of the seat read for me. Longer than book one but I still had to read in one sitting. 

Without spoiling it this is a great read with plenty of drama and suspense. I couldn’t read it quick enough. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

“I know.” He smirks at me. “Laters guys.” With a wave over his shoulder, he heads out and leaves Hayden and me alone. The door closes behind him and I turn to Hayden. “I’m glad you popped by.”

“Me too, but I actually came by to see what time you finish tonight? I’m planning an epic evening for us, and I need to know what time so it’s all perfect.”

“I can finish anytime I want. Perks of being the boss, but I normally finish around fiveish.”

“That’s perfect then. I will pick you up from your place at 6:00 p.m. As it starts at 6.30 p.m.”

“What does?”

“If I tell you, it won’t be a surprise. Dress casually.” He steps toward me, and stares deep into my eyes. When I’m with Hayden, everything feels perfect. Everything else fades away and it’s just us. “Can’t wait ‘til tonight. Have a great day.” He bends down and kisses me deeply, before pulling away and leaving.

I'm left standing in the middle of my shop with a goofy grin on my face. Hayden makes me feel special in the most amazing way. I’ve never felt like this with anyone before.

Review: The Uninvited

The Uninvited by J.A. Baker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I couldn’t resist reading this after reading the blurb...so intriguing. Oh and let’s give a wee mention to the fabulous cover.

Hugh and Faye decided they needed a fresh start so decided to move into an old house that needed renovations. Strange stuff going on has Faye not knowing what to believe. With her husband not believing her and fearing she was close to another breakdown, Faye knows she must find out what’s going on.

This is a creepy kinda read and a good one. I absolutely loved it and couldn’t resist but read it pretty quickly. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.

MY REVIEW

A big shout out to the author for giving us dark lovers an epic story of darkness. It sucked me right in and even just typing that has me wondering how can I possibly love a story like this. 

I’m not gonna go into the storyline. If you love dark reads then just read this. You won’t regret it....or will you lol I lost track of how many wtf moments I had or wondered about my own sanity as I loved this story. 

I seriously am in awe of this author. After finishing a book of hers I can’t help but sit in shock at the storyline she has brought to our lives. 

This has just jumped way high into my favourite reads of this year. All I wanna do is go in for a re read and I rarely re read. So so good.
