This is the story of Kes and Aimee. They meet when a carnival which Kes travels with stops in Aimee's hometown. What starts as a friendship when they are ten develops into a love affair as they get older. I love how we see the characters grow and develop. Janes descriptive flair had me captivated.
This book ends in a cliffhanger. Although I don't like cliffhangers I'm really glad I read this one. So looking forward to reading book two. Loved it.
