The Weight of Guilt - my review

I really enjoyed this story. I'd put this in the young adult category. I'd certainly recommend it to the younger readers.

Haven't we all felt guilty at some stage in our lives? The weight of the guilt can certainly get us down? When I read the title I thought yes I'm definitely interested in reading this story.

John is overwhelmed with guilt. He moves away to live with his sister for a fresh start. Unfortunately the guilt doesn't go away. What happens when he's accused of a murder? His past comes back to haunt him.

I thought the first half of the story was slower than I'd have liked. However the second half moved up a gear and the pace was faster for me. I kept trying to guess what happened to Megan but the author certainly surprised me. Great read.
