About the Author
John J Lennon Cohen is almost a fifty something year old sophisticate and a nerd to some degree but he has a marvellous sense of humour that comes out in all of his writings so it could be said without fear of contradiction that comedy is his forte. He is highly educated having studied in England’s Halton College in Sports, in Dublin’s National College in Humanities, and in an Institute of Technology where he achieved a degree in Movie Production. There is nothing he likes better than to travel to far flung exotic places and has visited all the continents but his bucket list if far from completed. He is a divorcee with three adult children. John Lennon Cohen influences are from two writers that inspired his life in the writing world with John Lennon of the Beatles fame and Leonard Cohen. There is no coincidence that he selected these famous two because along with writing prose he also writes lyrics and verse and has a book published on the very subject ‘Irreverent Irrelevant Rhyme’ available on all Amazon Networks; also his first novel ‘It Could Happen to You – Growing up in Ireland’ is available on Amazon. John has composed over one hundred lyrics/verse and has written much short film screen plays in his time at college and beyond. Having successfully obtained a degree in Movie/TV/Radio Production he has turned his attention to writing a zany comedy script for TV and this is a six part pilot run but at the moment is waiting for the acceptance nod from a good production company.
