To escape her parents and heal from her past Emily jumps on a train and goes to Scotland. There she meets a charming man who offers her a few weeks of solitude. She jumps at the chance and its her worst mistake ever. Ian her captor leaves her on the island. Every few weeks he turns up and drops off food for her. That's all of the storyline I'm gonna tell you as I don't wanna spoil it.
Although this is a fast paced thriller it's not full of angst. I found it to be a well written story with a unique storyline. I nearly stopped breathing with the plot twist.
I've gotta go see what other books this author wrote. Highly recommend this story.
