Blue Eyes of Texas - promo

PROMO

Synopsis
As a child, Randi loved neighbor Payton Austin like a brother. But she’s not a child anymore—and what she’s feeling now is certainly not sisterly love. Can they overcome other romantic entanglements and win each other’s hearts? Tempers flare and passions soar under the Texas skies in Elizabeth Parker’s contemporary western, Blue Eyes of Texas

She was mad. Spitting mad. Kick anything that got in the way of her booted foot mad. Her red curly hair and clear blue eyes may have been concealed under that Stetson on her head, along with the dusting of freckles across her cheeks, but Payton would have bet his last dollar that those blue eyes were flashing fire as Randi stalked across the gravel drive and headed toward the barn.

And that, in a nutshell, is the personality of our beautiful heroine, Randi Bolin.

Now the question remains: Can our strong, handsome, Texas hero, Payton Austin, tame Randi’s fiery temper long enough for her to see that he is in love with her and realize that she is in love with him, too?

Well, of course he can…and will (after all, he’s our hero), but not before Randi’s best friend, Crystal, starts dating Payton (and stakes a marriage claim on him) and Randi’s current boyfriend, Jason, decides that Randi is the woman of his dreams.

What a mess! Tempers get hot and passion gets even hotter as these four vie to be with the one they love.

About the author

Wanderlust, could best describe Elizabeth Parker's life. The joy of meeting new people, the adventure of visiting new places, feeds her inner hunger.

"There's a big, wide wonderful world out there, just waiting to be enjoyed," she says. "And I want to see and touch as much of it as possible on this journey through life!"

It's this love for people and adventure that led her into the world of romance writing. Whenever physical travel is not possible, Elizabeth grabs pen and paper and off she goes, into worlds inhabited by her characters and limited only by her imagination.

Although, she was born in the South, she feels a deep kinship with the people living in the western United States. So, it's no surprise that the setting for her novels are often in Montana, Wyoming, Colorado or Texas. "I just love a strong, handsome, man's-man," she says with a grin. "And out west, you don't have to search far to find one."

"But regardless of where you live," she goes on to explain, "love and the need for love, is finite in of each of us. Without it, life is pretty flat. It's that in-explainable chemistry, that love between a man and a woman that lifts us out of the bog and carries us to higher plains."

"In my writing," she concludes, "I strive to create strong, handsome men and pair them up with beautiful, feisty women."
