I've loved this authors previous books and this was no different. Rene has such a great way with words that she pulls you right into the story.
Mercedes is a young intelligent girl who grew up with a mentally ill mum who kept pushing her down. She lives in Beverly Hills where looks are everything. It doesn't matter how beautiful you are on the inside. This is Mercedes journey of discovery.
As always with Renes stories there is a moral hidden in this book. This is an ideal book for the young woman. Believe in yourself.
As with all Renes books I recommend this great read.
