Where do I start with this one? Ok.. The subject of slavery would never grab my attention. I'd always skip by these books. Thankfully I signed myself up for this blog & I must have skipped the word slave. So yet again I'm thankful for blog tours taking me out of my comfort zone.
Onto the story... I thought that this was a really well written beautiful story. Kale is Jason's slave. The relationship between these two don't start off to well. To be honest only for I have faith in my blog tour host I'd probably have given up after reading how hard Jason was on Kale. As I got into this story I loved the banter and the relationship between these two.
I'm going to give this book five stars. It grabbed my attention & once I got my head around the slavery bit I really enjoyed this book. Read it in one sitting.
If your going to read this book which I do recommend then I suggest you 1-click book two as this ends in a cliffhanger. Anyone that reads my reviews knows how much I hate cliffhangers. However I'm smiling this time as I've got book two on my kindle ready to start.
