What a really good young adult read this turned out to be. I certainly didn't expect it to turn out the way it did.
Rylee is a young girl. She's a typical teenage girl. When her dad is sent to Afganistan she steps in and takes care of her younger sisters. The book takes a turn about half way through which was certainly an unexpected surprise. Loved reading about the other characters in the story as well.
Great coming of age read. Loved the storyline especially the twist. The ending makes me want to jump into book two now.
