This is a companion novel to The Proposition and The Proposal. Having said that I received this for a blog tour and went straight into reading this without reading the other books. I do think I would have gained more from reading the other books (who wouldn't want to read more of Pesh) but that's my fault ( good excuse for me to go 1-clicking😉). However I did enjoy this as a standalone.
Pesh had his heart broke when his wife died. He's a sweet thoughtful oh so hot sexy doctor. One of them characters you can't help falling for.
Megan is the lovely hard working single mum of two year old Mason.
These two meet at a christening when they are both asked to be godparents.
Pesh is ready to settle down and have a family however Megan is happy with a casual fling.
I love the chase in this book. It's like a battle if wills that I loved reading about.
I've not read anything by Katie Ashley before but that will be changing as I need to read more about these fantastic characters.
