With two amazing sons of my own this brought home to me how lucky I am that they are healthy and happy. Yes I moan about their untidy room, not putting dishes away etc but at least they are able to make a mess.
Thelmas world falls apart when her son, Louis, has an accident and ends up in a coma. She is devastated. When she reads her sons book of wonders she realises she can do something for him while he’s in a coma.
This truly is a heart felt compassionate story. As a mum there were parts that resonated with me. Great praise to the author on a well written story. Ideal read for book club reads.
