I read The Bonus by this author so I didn't hesitate to read this book.
Pepper is totally broken. She has been a sex slave since she was young. It's all that she has known. Mac is a war hero. He's been through so much as well. He is asked to look after Pepper and introduce her to society.
This was an amazing read. It's action packed full of suspense, romance and sex. I felt the author threw me on a wild roller coaster ride without warning. The twists and turns had me sitting on the edge of my seat.
Be warned human trafficking is in this story.
